Comfort Zone Helps Habitat Family

The completion of a Habitat for Humanity Home for Tiffany Baldwin and her family was made even more sweet by the ladies of the Covenant Presbyterian Church Comfort Zone. They wanted to help a single mother, who had participated in the building of her home, and on Saturday, September 9, they did just that.

Committee member Wendy Bivens reached out to Habitat for Humanity of Durham, and with the help of director Lakeisha Minor, was able to identify a family. The Comfort Zone decided to donate a gift card to Tiffany Baldwin, mother of an 11-year-old daughter and four-year-old son. The gift will help the deserving mother and her children get settled in their new home.

The Comfort Zone is a committee of women who gather for mutual support and encouragement for the church, surrounding communities and organizations. Moderator Pamela White and committee member Wendy Bivens attended the dedication of the home and the start of a new chapter in the life of the Baldwin family.
